Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”

There are always so many super-entertaining things to do in central Florida, but for me and my family, affording them was a major issue! My three children had different interests and also wanted to try out all sorts of things. I couldn’t afford to “waste”, so exploring many different interests wasn’t a reality.

So, I started thinking of different ways to help alleviate this issue for my family and others.

The plan is to open a space where under-privileged families can come explore different creative coping skills, be surrounded with the village vibe. For example, a large home or community center where one room was filled with crafting supplies, the other with instruments and microphones, one with different gaming consoles, a kitchen with different recipes and foods to try, a reading and writing room, a garden…the list of possibilities could go on and on! Families can check in, then explore different interests, then share those interests with each other!

We are currenting planning the FAMILY FUN events in the community as we build our team. If you are vendor that is interested in getting together to plan a way to expose the community to your hobbies, please reach out!

Events provide entertainment, opportunities for showcasing talent, and promote creativity, coping skills, and family fun connection!
We hope this helps families gain access to a variety of creative coping outlets, enhance homeschool curriculums, as well as stir up some friendships bonded by similar interests!
